When a high level of trust has been established between AKA and the client, this is a construction methodology where AKA is the single-source contact for the design, development and provision of construction services of a project. This approach allows the client to reduce costs, accelerate construction start-up and delivery, and maintain flexibility. Most importantly the full responsibility for the project delivery and associated financing during construction remains solely with AKA, thereby reducing risk to the client. Starting as a complement to the usual "bid on spec" process, most of our volume now consists of Design-Build projects. This success is a clear indication as to why this remains the preferred approach to take for the construction of new buildings.
